Morgan Stanley Great Britons was greatly saddened by the loss of such an inspiring woman in September 2007. We would like to pass our condolences on to all those who knew and loved her and hope this page can help honour the memory of such a Great British individual.
Through her courage, determination, sense of humour, love of life and her
refusal to bow to the medical establishment, Jane Tomlinson epitomised many
of the attributes of Great Britishness. On top of this, her incredible campaigning
work and fund raising on behalf of cancer charities - which in 2004 included
her becoming the first terminally ill person to complete the full Ironman triathlon
in Florida - made her a truly exceptional Briton.
